How to extract a Gradient from a Photograph in Photoshop Using the Swatch Panel and Eyedropper

[postlink] [/postlink]
In this video we look at how Photoshop can be used to select and store colours for a gradient using the Swatches Panel.

This should be possible in most versions of Photoshop (CS2 and above), however the sampling ring feature shown requires a decent graphics card with OpenGL enabled.

We also look at how the eyedropper and swatches panel can be used to extract and store the colour scheme used in a website.
